Capacity building through community building is shifting the culture of our regional social sector toward more impactful data-informed strategies.

Our webinars, trainings, and presentations have helped hundreds of Georgia nonprofit professionals find, understand, and use data to increase the impact of their organizations.

But we know our audience is looking for more: a place to bounce new ideas off someone, get feedback on a project before sharing it with their board, or just being in the know of what other orgs are doing with data.

The mission of Neighborhood Nexus is to “grow a culture of data-informed decision making.” But you can’t just change a culture. Impact at this scale requires a tipping point of organizations using data well. But organizations don’t use data, the people who run them do.

Thus, growing a closely knit community of committed social sector professionals will ultimately influence our sector’s culture to leverage data to design smarter policies, programs and investment strategies.
